Making A PurchaseMaking a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And HandlingWe ship across the UK and Ireland. Orders totalling under £100 will be subject to a £5.50 charge, orders over £100 qualify for FREE delivery.

In no event or circumstances shall Lock and Key Shop Ltd be held liable or responsible for any delay, failure, loss of earnings, default or disruption of the contents or services resulting from a late delivery of our goods.
Back OrdersIf your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Returns of keys to be cut?
For security reasons you have 3 days to notify us of any shortage of keys. For security reasons Lock and Key Shop will destroy any unclaimed keys after 4 days from the date the items are sent, we always recommend keys are not sent back to the address they are intended. 1st Call Lock and Key Shop will replace any keys we have destroyed free of charge after this period, this is for our security as much as yours
Due to the nature of some of our products we are unable to refund the cost of any extra keys, we are also unable to accept some products back for exchange if keys have been cut.
We are also unable to refund any shipping costs on Items that have been ordered incorrectly
Items that have been sent incorrectly on our behalf, we will issue a full refund of the total goods returned including any shipping costs.
Cancel an order
If you need to change details of your delivery address, remove items from your order or cancel it completely, please contact our Customer Services team for advice on 0121 433 4181 between 8am and 5PM Monday to Friday. , or email us email@example.com Please be ready to quote your order number and order date.
If your order has already been despatched or delivered, then you'll need to follow our Returns procedure in the event of any unwanted products. You can also of course return them to our store.
There are some products which we cannot cancel, refund or exchange, including keyed alike locks or key cutting.
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
This legislation offers you the following cancellation rights when you buy online or by phone:
You are entitled to cancel your contract if you so wish, provided that you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods or services
Your right to return products does not apply to goods made to your specification, that have been clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you are obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement, including details of your name, geographical address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and email address

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement no later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied
