Question: I'm looking for a specific product and I'm not really sure what it is called?
Answer: Don't worry. Please call the technical help line on 0121 459 8722 and we will try to find the product you are describing.
Question: We have just moved into a new house and we want to upgrade the locks.
Answer: For insurance purposes it is always best to fit British Standard mortice locks (those locks with the long key). When selecting a mortice lock you need to look for the kite mark and the code BS3621:2004 which signifies that the lock is insurance rated and approved.
Question: We have placed an order and wish to add to it, will we be charged twice for carriage?
Answer: No, as long as the second order is placed before 1.00pm and has the same delivery address and name on we will consolidate before despatch. Please remember orders over £100 will be carriage free.
Question: We can see that you do masterkeyed systems but I can not see how to order them on-line.
Answer: Masterkeyed systems can be simple or incredibly complex depending on your requirements. We ask if you could contact the help line on 0121 459 8722 where our experienced team will ask you a series of questions in order to design the best system for you.
Question: I placed my order today when will I receive my goods?
Answer: We aim to deliver most orders within 2 working days. Some items are constructed to order, so please call us first to double check.
Question: What are your delivery charges and how do they work?
Answer: On Standard items there is a standard shipping charge of £5.50 unless the order is above £100 then the shipping is free. Non-Standard items i.e Safes have different shipping charges dependant on there size and weight, there are 3 main shipping charges for safes these are:
Safe Delivery Service Breakdown:
Drop Off Service: Using two different national carriers, this is a drop off only service. This service can generally be carried out within 3 working days from reciept of order. Named delivery are available at no extra cost.
Delivery and Position: Recommended for all larger safes. The safe will be delivered by a specialist removals company. They will take the safe into the building and place it in position, including upstairs as long as it does not take more than 1 hour. They will then unpack the safe and remove all of the packing materials from site. This service can be carried out within 3-5 working days from reciept of order. Named delivery days are available at no extra cost.
Deliver and boltdown: Recommended for all larger safes. This is carried out by a safe engineer. They will take the safe into the property and bolt into position. This service is generally available within 5-10 working days. Named delivery days are available at no extra cost.
Question: How do i register for a login account?
Answer: Due to the type of equipment we offer, we are only able to provide login facilities to locksmiths and other security industry menbers, including ICL and NNAL members.
NNAL Members can use there CAL numbers and passwords already provided
